Ye Ping Delivers Legal Lecture at Shanghai Fenghua High School: Blooming Towards the Sun and Journeying to the Mountains and Seas

On the morning of January 17, 2025, Shanghai Fenghua High School (hereinafter referred to as "Fenghua High School") held its 2025 winter break closing ceremony. The school specially invited Ye Ping, Party Branch Secretary of Changlei Law Firm, to deliver a legal education lecture titled "Blooming Towards the Sun, Journeying to the Mountains and Seas" for the teachers and students. This legal publicity session was a thematic activity of "School-Law Firm Collaboration for Law-Based School Governance, Party Building Co-construction in Resonance," conducted jointly again after the two parties signed the Party building co-construction agreement and the standing legal counsel service agreement.

Targeting the characteristics of high school students, Party Branch Secretary Ye Ping carefully selected typical cases occurring in Shanghai campuses. This allowed students to gain a more comprehensive and profound understanding of the types of bullying or violent acts affecting campus safety, their impact on all parties, and the legal responsibilities they may entail. Secretary Ye appealed to students to reject campus bullying, refusing to be perpetrators, victims, accomplices, or bystanders, and to jointly create a safer and more harmonious green campus. During the lecture, Secretary Ye also shared with students how to face emotions correctly, manage emotions, and transform pressure into motivation. She advised that when experiencing emotional conditions or problems, one must actively seek help from family, teachers, classmates, and psychology professionals to adjust emotions well and study and live happily.

After the lecture, Luo Xin, Secretary of the Second Party Branch of Fenghua High School, engaged in an interactive exchange with Secretary Ye Ping. Secretary Luo thanked Secretary Ye for taking time out of her busy schedule to bring such a wonderful lecture to the students. He stated that in today's information-rich society, high school students in the new era must respect the law and frequently learn legal knowledge. Improving students' legal literacy and further enhancing their ability to distinguish right from wrong and protect themselves will be a long-term and systematic project.
